Then in our new pairs we were given the task of turning all these phrases into a poem, half the class asked to create a poem that made sense and the other half asked to write one that didnt make sense, we were asked to write a poem that didnt make sense.
The person that i had paired with kept the copy of the poem which we wrote so i re-rote a new one using the words and phrases which i found.
Here is the poem:
The person that i had paired with kept the copy of the poem which we wrote so i re-rote a new one using the words and phrases which i found.
Here is the poem:
Jurassic park golf,
tell me your secret,
stairs to all floors,
one red paper clip.
In the glass cube,
Sophie Shields,
in other words,
Olivia Steele.
Flavoured syrup shot,
in the frame,
in other words,
looks can kill.
Bacon sandwich,
sausage sandwich,
egg sandwich,
shut up you queer.
At first it sounded easy, writing a poem that made no sense whatsoever, however once you start writing you kind of subcontiously pair things together and the words start making sense. Also as you start writing your poem starts to build up a rhythm and a flow, and you have to find similar sounding lines and words to keep the rhythm of the poem.
