BOOOOOOKS.

We were asked to bring along with us to the first session the last 3 things that we had read, including our favourite book, this could include anything from magazines, newspapers to books.
These were the books which i brought along to the sessions.

Guerrilla advertising by Gavin Lucas

decoding advertising by Judith Williamson

Ways of seeing by John Berger

As we had just had a deadline for an essay relating to advertising, the last 3 books which i had read were all research for this essay, so all related to advertising and sexism within advertising. Sadly i do not read, i wish i did but i dont have enough concentration to just sit down and read without instantly just being distracted by something else and end up reading a whole page whist thinking of something completely different and not take any of the information in. I have tried many times to force myself to read but i am just not able to. Therefore i did not have a favourite book to bring to the session with me, however out of the 3 books which i brought in i did have a favourite one, Guerilla advertising by Gavin Lucas, im not really sure that it counts as an actual book because it is mainly made up of pictures. It is however very interesting, some of the advertisements within the book are just so clever and explained perfectly throughout the book.
